Looking around

I know I said that I was gonna post things right after my last post but I got too busy :-( 

I had an awesome class at Stamping Details yesterday!!  So fun and love those women!!

I am trying to go through all my pictures and see if their are projects that I have missed sharing with you all!!  This is the first of MANY projects...

This is one of my FAVORITE cards and I can't believe I never shared it with you!!

 

 

The papers I used are from Sky's the Limit from My Little Shoebox!!  LOVE these papers!!  I used my cool label maker to make the sentiment and my slice to cut the heart.  My favorite part of this card is the layout.  It's so fun!!

Tuesday Fun... (sure cuts a lot)

I just got the Sure Cuts A Lot program for my Cricut and I LOVE it!!!!  It's been so fun making new shapes and using the fonts on my computer.  I think I will be getting A LOT more use out of my Cricut now!!  

Cricut vs. my Slice-  I still love the Slice and love the cartridges (that I think are way more trendy and cute and you get more for your money than the Cricut) BUT the Cricut is just a great machine all together and it doesn't run into as many problems as I have had with the Slice... but hopefully all that will change with the updates and things that they have in store for the Slice.  Plus the Slice is just plain CUTE!!  

Now back to the Cricut... the card above I cut using the Cricut on the Sure Cuts A Lot software.  It was super easy and it's fun to play on your computer and see it turn into real life.  You can look at the file I downloaded at 2 Peas HERE the designer is Kristina Werner... LOVE HER!!!

LOVE this layout and I LOVE this paper, it's one of those things that just makes you smile!!!  

LOve these circles.... ahhhh it's killin' me with the cute-ness of this paper!!!  I also paired it up with the super cute Unity kit called "Owl always love you" and I used the Slice to ad the flourish at the top!!

LOVE IT!!!  I can't wait to create some more!!  I've been having some major fun lately!!

Baby Shower

I have been creating like CRAZY and been REALLY bad at updating my blog.  School is done and last week I took all week to relax and catch up on stuff!!  So now I am hoping to get in a little bit more of a normal routine.  

I will start by sharing with you some baby shower stuff I made for a shower I hosted for my BFF a couple weeks ago.  

This was a diaper cake that I made, the top layer was baby onsies with Scrapbooking stuff coming out of the top.  The tag was made with Unity Stamps and the Slice.

Now here were the party favors that were made for the attendants who came.  They were microwave popcorn bags with a tag saying that Carisa was ready to "POP".  Isn't that the cutest thing ever!!!  

Now here is a picture of Baby Violet born Friday night.

Color Challenge #2

Love these color challenges so here is my #2 Layout for the Eye For Design, color creative online class I am taking.  

It's been GREAT so far and so full of inspiration.  Stamps are by Unity (of course) and I used my Slice to cut the word "You Are" from the new Quotes cartridge.

Slice Class...

Hello...

Last week I did a class at Ever After for the Slice.  It was a basic 101 class and we had someone come all the way from Riverside to attend my class, what an honor.  I hope that I made her drive worth it!!  It was a blast and we had many women there eager to learn more of the basic functions for their Slice, stay tuned for more Slice classes!!
